Barbados Beaches
Barbados beaches are legendary
The many who return year after year to Barbados are familiar with them, but if you have never been to Barbados
never mind a Barbados beach, here is a brief summary.

Barbados beaches are different according to which coast they are on.
Barbados has some wonderful beaches, and the fact that many people return year after year
bears witness to this.
Barbados has an Atlantic Ocean coast to the east, and the Caribbean Sea to the west, and these
two coast lines are completely different as a consequence.

most popular with visitors, and it is here that most of the hotels and resorts are found.

a mainly rocky shore, but there are beautiful beaches as well, ideal for surfers, and wonderful
views.
The north coastline has spectacular cliffs rising from the sea, with one or two sandy
bays.
Most visitors prefer the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea, so naturally congregate on one of a
number of white sand beaches on the west coast.
Barbados has a number of coastal parishes, and many of the parishes have beaches
