What kind of hotel is Cobblers Cove?
Cobblers
Cove is one of the oldest established famous hotels which has a kind of old fashioned class to it. Although it
is on the beach, this hotel is not a beach resort.
What kind of people stay at the Cobblers Cove
It is a good choice for a Barbados Honeymoon. To keep
the hotel up to date a number of suites are completely redecorated each year. If you really feel like pushing the
boat out for your honeymoon vacation, then there are two enormous penthouse suites on the rooftop of the original
house, each with its own pool and incredible views of the beach and the garden, not to mention a four poster bed,
very honeymoon vacation romantic too.
Although the Cobblers Cove Hotel is only graded four star, don’t let that sway your decision because the whole
atmosphere is that of an elegant secluded five star, with a very relaxed and classy feel to it. There is something
very gracious about the ambience, part of which comes from the history of the main building, and another from the
traditional English style courtesy with which you are made welcome.
Another reason for the way that guests seem to love Cobblers Cove so much, and return year after year is perhaps
the fact that many of them are English, and there is more than a hint of the traditional and almost forgotten tradition of the English Country House
Party.
If you are thinking of Cobblers Cove for a honeymoon vacation, there is no doubt you would feel very relaxed here,
and then when you wanted to spread your wings a little there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and action in the
west coast bars and discos. You may find the other guests somewhat middle aged, but that in fact all adds to the
charm of the place, and you will quickly realise your privacy will not be intruded upon.
How many rooms and suites does Cobblers Cove have
It is an all suite hotel with very spacious accommodation, and the main building has a lovely old colonial style to
it, added to it by its colour being pink.
The rooms have rattan furniture, lovely terracotta and attractive cooling cottons, with all the amenities you might
expect from a hotel that is a member of the distinguished Relaix and Chateaux Group. They each have either large
balcony or terrace, with a dressing area, and a large bathroom adorned with every quality English toiletry you
could wish for. There are 40 elegant suites in eleven Spanish style buildings on two floors, with the deluxe suites
being closer to the beach.
What facilities does Cobblers Cove Offer
There are a number of complimentary sports including water skiing, tennis, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and
snorkelling.
There is WiFi access, a television lounge, a freshwater pool, a Centre for Wellbeing which includes a
gymnasium
How good is the food at Cobblers Cove
The restaurant is the Terrace restaurant with an open air dining room overlooking the water, and the very refined
fare is well received by the guests, in fact raved about might be a more accurate description. One of the nice
English charms at the Cobblers Cove Hotel is the complimentary afternoon tea.
How expensive is it to stay at Cobblers Cove
You can expect to pay between $494 and $1131, per suite per night including breakfast
with a supplement for half board.
How to book the Cobblers Cove
